Developer's Update September 2021

The past month and a half has been difficult due to personal affairs that interfered greatly with development. Fortunately, the worst of those have now been resolved, although most of August was a bust, in terms of working on the game. As it stands, the next build is almost done. With the exception of the battle system, which will be worked on much later, most of the backend development and scripting is done. Tweaks and redesigns could still be an option later on, but the foundation for the game is about ready. Many of the new menu features are being tested at the moment and should make it easier for the player to navigate, especially when it comes to turning on or off certain fetish content.

Testing and debugging the current quests is about done, as well. Some quests have been depreciated entirely and thus removed. When the next release comes out, everyone must start a new game because old saves will no longer be compatible and will cause crashes.

While some new content may become available, such as a revamped quest for Penny the shopkeeper and a new quest line for Mel the Bartender, I have kept new content on an as-needed basis due to the work I have put in on the backend.

As it stands, Version 0.3 will come out next month, which will also be the one year anniversary of the project on Itch. I will have a comprehensive list of changes upon release.
